What's New!
Much Happening!
I have been very bad at bringing this part of the Web site up to date.
Since the last update, the Garden Gallery in Carlisle, PA, in October, 2009, featured my art (the abstract kind). The Gallery has continued to show four pieces from that show! Thanks, Charles and Susie, for the wonderful reception and vote of confidence!
On January 2, 2010, my solo show containing almost 50 pieces opened at the Frederick Arts Council's Cultural Arts Center! We had a wonderful turnout on a frigid and windy First Saturday! A great time was had by all. The exhibition continues until February 2nd.
Next, I am scheduled to have a solo show in the Hall Gallery of the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center, in Frederick, MD, from June through August 2010!
And, I have been hired to teach an Introduction to Digital Photography mini-course at the Rehobeth Arts League in Rehobeth Beach, DE, beginning in mid-January 2010.
Indeed, these are exciting times!
Delaplaine Show!

I'm a member of the Frederick Area Photographer’s Roundtable. The Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center is exhibiting our works of spontaneous photography created using a variety of quick or automatic cameras such as cell-phones, Polaroids, point-and-shoots, and video clips.

Oh Boy!
Slowly but surely, I'm taking over Carlisle, PA. Just kidding . . . . Six of my pieces are being exhibited for sale during CALC's "Art For The Holidays." Be sure to check CALC's Web site here for times and dates. My photography also will be on display at California Cafe. The exhibit's dates are not yet set. Please keep checking here for the dates. Last but not least, my large exhibit of my artwork will be shown during May and June 2009, at the Murata Business Center on Cherry Street.
And, there's more great news in Frederick, MD! McGuire Fine Arts & Framing is now representing me in the area and has my work on exhibit. McGuire's also has included my photography on its Web site. Please take a look right here!
Big Developments!!
Lots has happened since my last entry! On June 2, 2008, I will be the featured artist from June through mid-August 2008 at the Carlisle Arts Learning Center in Carlisle, PA!! CALC will be showing 15 "weathered wonders"! CALC is on North Hanover Street.
And, on June 14, 2008, the Haverstick Gallery and Studios, between 6.00 and 9.00 pm, will be holding an opening reception for "Shutter Speed." I will be one of three photographers having their work showcased. The show will run for two to three weeks after the opening date.
Finally, I will be the featured artist at McGuire's Fine Arts Gallery, here on North Market Street in Frederick, MD, beginning on August 2, 2008, running through August. There will be a "meet the artist" reception between 6 and 9 PM, Saturday, the 2nd., and everyone is welcome! I'm taking over almost the entire gallery!
Please stop by at these fine establishments and take a look at my work up close and personally!!
More new developments!
I have three noteworthy developments to share with you. First, Frederick Community College has hired me to teach Digital Photography, beginning at the end of January! I have always wanted to teach! And, to boot, I'll be teaching a subject near and dear to my heart!
The second thing is that, for a number of excellent reasons, I have chosen to end my relationship with the Museum Shop in Frederick. The pieces that were there now will grace the walls of Beckie Loya's Loya Galleries in Pittsburgh. I wish to publicly thank the staff of the Museum shop for their support, professionalism, friendship, and appreciation of my work.
Finally, speaking of Beckie's gallery, she now has her new Web site up and running. You can reach it at http://www.loyagalleries.com! Please feel free to check out her new Web site, and, if you're in the Pittsburgh area, do your eyes a favor and pay the place a visit!
Thanks, and I hope you and yours had a great Holiday Season and a terrific New Year!

New photos added & new prices on Smugmug site!
I've added a few more new photos to the Featured Photographs page and removed some older ones to make room for the new ones. I also have sharply reduced print prices for all my galleries on Smugmug. And, a special print sale is in progress until January 1, 2008, for all photographs in the Amherst Early Music Festival gallery.
While Smugmug does a very nice job of printing photos, Smugmug prints cannot be compared to the limited-edition, signed, hand processed, fine art giclee prints that you are purchased through this Web site by clicking here.
Site Changes
Today, I added two new features.
First, I added a sidebar containing site indices so that you can get around the site better. Please let me know what you think about them. And, please let me know if you have other recommendations or suggestions to help make this site better.
Second, I added a Google Checkout button to each photograph. This will greatly ease your ability to purchase the prints that you would like. This is a fully secure and very easy to use way to purchase prints. Using it is self-explanatory. If you'd like more information about this service, please click here.
Thanks.

New format!
I got some feedback that the site would better show my photos if I went to a less distracting background scheme. So, this white, cleaner background came to be! Please let me know what you think about the change! Thanks.

Added new photos!
Over the last couple of weeks, I went back to Ford heaven at Al's! I added new shots to Emblems, Handles, and Exteriors! I also added a new International Harvester photo to the Welcome Abstracts pages. Hope you like them as much as I do!
Photographs and new print sizes added! Plus, some exciting news!
I ran across a terrific old Chevy flatbed truck a couple of weeks ago and finally got to processing the photos. I added those new photos to Pure Abstracts, Emblems, Lights, Bodywork, Interiors, and Exteriors. I also added a few shots of an old Thunderbird to Pure Abstracts and Emblems. Finally, I started identifying the new shots in red. They'll stay red for about a month.
I had to share with you a photo of a very inquisitive bee. I ran across the little guy when I was shooting the flatbed. You can find that photo on "The Photographer" page.
You also may have noticed that I changed the Google Buttons. To provide you with more choices, I added two new print sizes and prices: 4'x6" for $30 each and 8"x12" for $75.
Last but not least, I have some exciting news to share with you. Two galleries, one in Frederick, MD, and the other in Pittsburgh, PA, will be representing me and showing and selling my "weathered wonders." I'll keep you posted.
Gallery news!!
It's official now!

My work and I also soon will be included on the gallery's site [http://www.museumshopltd.com.] The Museum Shop Ltd is located at 20 N. Market Street in the heart of historic, downtown Frederick. The gallery's telephone number is 1-888-678-0675. Thanks so much, Andrea and Bill!! You can reach Andrea at andrea@museumshopltd.com
A new fine art gallery, Loya Galleries, also is showing and selling my work in Pittsburgh, Loya Galleries is located at Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Tarentum, PA 15084. You can reach the gallery by calling 724-274-0999 or emailing info@loyagalleries.com. Thank you, Beckie Loya!!
I have a bunch of new photos to add to the Web site. I just haven't had the time to get them posted. I promise that I will have them up soon for your viewing pleasure.
Web site reorganization
I have received valuable feedback from several people about the large amount of photographs on this site. Initially, I thought that including many photographs that are logically organized would help you to locate just the right photograph or photographs that speak to you.
I was wrong. Too many choices made viewing of this site difficult and tedious.

New Exhibit!
Please join me at one of the two receptions celebrating the opening of my upcoming show at the Lafayette Gallery in downtown Frederick, MD. Please see the attached invitation to right for details. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you at the gallery!
More Good Stuff!
The dates have been set for my California Cafe exhibit in Carlisle, PA. My work will be showing in the front, main, dining area at the restaurant, beginning on March 16, and ending May 11. It will coincide with the Spring Carlisle Car Show. Hope to see you there! It's going to be great!
I have invited to join discoveredartists.com. Discoveredartists.com was conceived on the idea that everyone should be able to own at least one piece of original Art. The site focuses on bringing to market the works of emerging artists, in other words, me! Many of my photographs of "weathered wonders" now can be easily viewed and purchased by just clicking on this link, discoveredartists.com!
